ComicsBeat posted an interesting article about an All Ages Comics Panel at Wondercon 2015.  I work at a local comics shop in Los Angeles (woot woot, Golden Apple Comics!)  And we have a pretty awesome kids section.  Yet, there are still so many gaps of comics for kids.  Can someone please explain to me why there’s not a more kid-friendly version of Spider-Man?  (and no Ultimate Spider-Man does not count – because it’s just rehash of the show – and nine times out of ten, when I suggest it to the kid he or she thumbs through it and says, “I saw this one.”).

I also discovered a Podcast all about comics and kids.  I’ve listened to a few – and it’s got clips of kids and what they like, and interviews with industry creators.

Then there’s one of my favorites:  Amulet!
